The 8th edition of the Business Excellence Summit brought together industry leaders, faculty, students and alumni at XIM Bhubaneswar for two days of conversations around building resilient and responsible organizations.
The Challenge
In an environment shaped by uncertainty, technological disruption and evolving stakeholder expectations, resilience has become an essential part of sustainable leadership. The summit created a platform for leaders and emerging professionals to explore how organizations can anticipate change, respond to uncertainty and build sustainable value.
The Experience
The summit opened with a lamp-lighting ceremony and inaugural address, followed by a theme address emphasizing openness, collaboration and the human edge in building resilient organizations. The opening session also featured the launch of Echoes, the BES magazine, and Unnayan, the alumni magazine.
The first day featured a keynote by Sandeep Bagla, CEO, TRUST Mutual Fund, who introduced the 4A Framework — Anticipate, Absorb, Adapt and Accelerate — while highlighting AI, accountability, digital infrastructure and responsible leadership.

This created a more engaging exchange between experienced industry voices and the next generation of professionals. The summit concluded with the felicitation of dignitaries, reinforcing its central focus on building adaptable, responsible and resilient organizations for an uncertain future.
